Wildfire in the Dark - Episode 8

After Selah refuses to marry Adam, the Taylors accuse her of bringing in thugs who attacked them and left their mother hospitalized. A family member says they followed Selah, then were blocked, hijacked and locked in their car until after dark; nearby security footage was wiped. Gavin is urged to support the father; he seizes Selah's phone, forbids her leaving and orders, "Until you marry into the Taylor family, you're not going anywhere!" He warns, "You'd better behave, or your mom's stay in the hospital won't go well," leaving Selah detained under a marriage ultimatum.
