A heated meeting opens with a longtime caregiver pleading to Ms. Zabel after being expelled by Mrs. Creswell for focusing on Tobias. The caregiver says Sophia is distracted, has decorated the house in tacky pink, and neglected the Creswells. She threatens to call her husband to expose Mrs. Creswell’s treatment.
