A woman from Nanjara taunts a man, claiming she has subverted the men he raised and now controls the kingdom. Elsewhere, Princess Zora is reported trapped and in danger, prompting the man to mobilize his troops with fury. Confronting the princess, the woman reveals she deliberately allowed Zora's maid to escape, framing the act as treason to lure the king. She declares her men are now returning with the captured maid and the fabricated evidence to solidify the princess's guilt.
