Beauty Amid the Flames of War - Episode 1

Vivian Gale, daughter of the chief imperial physician, lives disguised as Ian Shaw and vows to avenge her father. In this episode she works as Physician Shaw while her father treats Her Majesty’s relapse; he promises to retire after the cure, bring Vivian home, and treat her Extreme Cold. The monarch praises him and orders Mirabel to give the emerald scepter to Physician Gale, but the court suddenly turns: someone shouts "Kill him." The episode closes with the father stunned and Vivian's vow unresolved as the physician faces an immediate, deadly order.
