Beneath the Rouge, A Sword - Episode 2

Princess Lainey is dispatched three thousand miles into the Outlands to marry into Myrraveth, while Princess Joselyn enjoys a royal send-off. Lainey leaves with no dowry and a castoff carriage; courtiers mock her and advise she must win Prince Emmitt's heart. Her father refuses to let their mother attend, promising Lainey visitation only after marriage. Lainey vows, "I'll come back for you," and servants urge her to run when whispers claim Outlands barbarians drink blood. The episode ends as carriages form and a shouted command, "Come out here now!", sends her into an uncertain fate.
