Between Who and He - Episode 1

On her wedding night Dorothy is forced into marriage to save her mother, who lies in the ICU. The Stevens relatives bully her, demand $5 million a month and seize betrothal gifts while taunting that Jerome can't have children and warning about her ex‑boyfriends' health. Tension escalates as family members threaten consequences if she refuses. Jerome, cold and silent, meets Dorothy for the first time and breaks the standoff with one order: "Open your mouth." The episode ends with Dorothy frozen at his command, the coercive deal unresolved and her next move hanging in the balance.
