Black Blood's Awakening - Episode 2

The episode opens with Arion Black, the disgraced heir to a once-powerful family, being insulted as a 'beggar' and 'monster' upon his arrival at an Academy banquet. Headmaster White publicly mocks his failed legacy and lack of magical power. Arion defiantly claims the Black name will rise again, but a magic student attempts to humiliate him with an attack. The spell fails, and the attacker blames Arion for being a curse, who coolly remarks on the Academy's poor construction. The episode ends with Arion isolated, his vow to restore his house met with scorn and a hint of latent power.
