At a noble banquet, a young man from House Black faces ridicule as 'useless' before a mandatory aptitude assessment. While others, especially a rival from House Green, demonstrate remarkable talent to the assembled crowd, the Black heir is taunted and bet against. Stepping forward to the test, he must now prove his worth under the scornful gaze of the gathering and the direct scrutiny of the Queen.
