Blast of Truth - Episode 1

A gas explosion collapses Westvale's largest mine, trapping workers and world-renowned expert Dr. Hans Lind. Company executive Ms. Scott wants to seal the tunnel, but officials and miners urgently plead with Jackson to rescue Lind because Mount Quill's new lode depends on him. Jackson hesitates—Lind was costly to retrieve—but grudgingly agrees to lend him under strict confidentiality and a three-day limit. Hans immediately teaches the room-and-pillar support method and orders gas inspections as crews prepare to resume cutting coal. The episode ends as an alarm cries "Danger!", signaling an immediate new threat.
