Blast of Truth - エピソード 5

Company men confront Bryn, the chairman's daughter, saying workers prefer an engineer and vowing to get rid of the 'troublemaker' before Dr. Lind arrives. In the mine a worker apologizes to Hans for skipping a seepage check; they discover severe damage. With a blast scheduled in two hours the entrance will blow and the unsupported tunnel could collapse. The chief engineer admits negligence, accepts responsibility and volunteers to go in. Colleagues warn about his newborn but still insist he must rebuild the pillars; the episode ends as he prepares to enter before the blast.
