After defeating Dirk's Slave Hunters, he confronts the fearful townsfolk in the central square, declaring that resistance is their only path to freedom. Many residents are terrified, citing Dirk's overwhelming mechanical army and his brutal retaliation against other towns. As a local tries to rally others against the outsider, accusing him of starting a rebellion, they are interrupted by the sudden, ominous arrival of Dirk's forces, the 'Iron Wings'.
