Edric confronts Bucky after hearing that his fiancée has run away, and Bucky suggests he marry her instead. Edric orders Bucky to keep the woman away from him. Meanwhile, Tansy receives a call from her mother, who urges her to return home and get married, but Tansy insists she has found a job and wants to support herself independently. Suddenly, Tansy learns her mother is sick and rushes to her side. Upon arriving, Tansy discovers her father has deceived her, leaving her shocked and uncertain about what to do next.
