Bran sneaks away from work as Coral attempts to leave for an emergency and is stopped by supervisor Ms. Vance. Outside, a man from the Zane family declares Bran will be presented as the 101st generation meant to please Mr. Zane Sr., offering $1 million monthly. Bran demands a deposit, receives $100,000, and is warned, "Don't tell my mommy."
