When a security guard intervenes, he interrupts Ninette and her companions after they rough up captives and reveal a stolen S-rank spiritual item. Ninette is accused of bullying and taunted about her Mystic Hall elder master. The group recognizes the guard as "a mere mortal" with no ability energy and moves to capture him to interrogate. They attack, but the guard counters quickly, shattering their offense and forcing them to kneel. Instead of handing him over, he turns the tables and calmly demands, "How exactly do you want to be interrogated?" leaving them kneeling and the interrogation about to begin.
