Faking It, Falling Hard - Episode 8

At a gathering Kenneth is scolded for touching Faye after she leaned in to kiss him; he says he couldn't refuse because he's pretending to be her boyfriend to keep the ruse. A friend warns he may catch feelings and recalls their feud—Kenneth almost ran Faye over in college and once reported her for cheating—then reveals a financial motive: after her parents died she inherited 51% of the company, meant as the speaker's dowry, and the firm now needs funds. They decide to push her to sign and demand repayment. The episode ends with: "Return what I lent you."
