At a café Eve learns her mother arranged a fiancé visit; she and best friend Elaine vow to kick him out. At work, a manager warns Eve that boss Liam is watching her, adding pressure. During a team meeting a new member is introduced: he announces, “I'm Brandon Sheldon Chester,” and coworkers react with curiosity and hostility. One person shouts, “Stay back!” Later the newcomer reveals, “I have another identity — Evelyn Sullivan’s fiancé,” upending the plan and surprising Eve. The episode ends with Eve and Elaine forced to confront this unexpected claimant and the looming complication of Liam’s interest.
