Guests, led by Stella (Ms. Culver), jeer that he can't afford such a gift and accuse him of lying. Mrs. Culver Sr. accepts while Stella demands proof and humiliates Holt for past cowardice. Holt publicly stakes an apology if the coral isn't inside and privately dismisses Stella's outburst as attention-seeking. The episode ends on a tense turn as Holt commands, "Dillon, open it," and everyone holds their breath for the reveal.
