Mr. Quincy dictates strict new clauses for their marriage contract, forbidding any physical contact after the wedding—holding hands, hugging, even pretending to wipe sweat—or it counts as breach. He also bans Ms. Lane from receiving his custom ring, from mentioning or hosting a wedding publicly, and from entering his residence or holding keys. Ms. Lane protests, calls him a psycho, while he insists he’s keeping a promise to Evie and says he "could never fall in love" with Lane.
