At a family gathering Mr. Holt is pressed about disciplining his daughter; he backtracks, insists a daughter should be spoiled, and asks an aide to keep her company. He orders staff to trace an invitation and wonders if Tyler's daughter could have a connection with Troy. Later at dinner the child demands an AdCal and is coddled with wine; Nia snaps, "That's enough," saying she was never allowed these treats. The moment is cut short when Ms. Carter arrives, leaving the invitation's origin and the Tyler–Troy question unresolved.
