Ms. Beck returns from abroad and leaves Mr. Stone a one-of-a-kind watch: a white porcelain dial, gold hands and Roman numerals. Her aide presents it as a gift for him and points out it will cover the wound on his neck. Colleagues remark it’s not Diana’s taste, but the watch is handed over anyway. When asked about the Nocturne dinner, Mr. Stone says he will attend — "only to see you" — and the woman answers, "I'll be waiting, Mr. Stone." The episode ends on that promise and the concealed wound.
