Joscelin plans to bait Flainn by using the Towse family as leverage. The scene flips when Yusuf storms in to collect $10 million, accuses them of stealing their father’s shares, and threatens to seize the forge; he even strikes Harlem. Yusuf offers a last chance: a best‑two‑of‑three forging contest—win to buy time, lose and Marilyn becomes his. Pressed and desperate, the Towse family accepts, leaving the forge and Marilyn’s fate unresolved as the contest looms.
