A vampire man insists he owes a debt to House Mar and must use his sacred blood to repay them for past injuries, despite a woman pleading for him to stop. He agrees to one final payment, stating it will sever all ties with the house. Meanwhile, news spreads that the Prince plans to marry a human woman, causing outrage among other vampires. The Prince, however, presents his father with secured alliances as a bargaining chip to marry Lilian, declaring he wants both the Royal Family's glory and her. Lilian, confused by his devotion, is told the Prince is far more trustworthy than her previous protectors, hinting her suffering may soon be over.
