At a memorial, a woman drops a mother's ashes and Axel slaps her; onlookers demand an apology and urge retaliation. A guest breaks down, confessing she married the wrong man, while someone pledges to protect Clare. Clare confronts Axel, accusing him of arranging another woman to slap her and saying she regrets falling in love with him. Chaos forces a warning to Clare; she collapses and later wakes to find Axel taking her away and asks, "Where are you taking me?"
