At the bride pick-up, Nathan's brother Declan announces he's standing in for the ill groom. Guests admire the bride and note Hailey's persistent balm; people worry Nathan's weak lungs can't tolerate Hailey's strong Spring Water scent that was sprayed as a protective custom. Some suggest the balm could heal, but anxiety grows as the party hustles into a car—Molly, the bride, has never ridden one before.
