Hailey wakes with a lingering, soothing scent on her clothes. Her mother notices and questions it while Nathan says he can't smell anything. One person admits, 'I bought it for her to wear; I just really like the scent.' Later, medicine given to Hailey also carries that perfume, making the mother suspect a hidden secret. The mother urges that Hailey be treated well. The episode closes as a companion thanks someone for backing them up and reveals, 'there's something I need to tell you,' leaving the nature of the secret unresolved.
