Roses in the Scars - Episode 1

An unexpected man appears and declares himself her arranged fiancé; she refuses, insisting she earns her own way. Simultaneously Mr. Hayes orders a search for Jeri Snyder, adding outside pressure. At home, Marisa faces a domestic confrontation: her stepson Bret cries that he gets no game allowance, and his grandmother accuses Marisa of shaming him, saying her son has just gone and calling stepmoms evil. Marisa flashes back: three years earlier she left the Snider family to reject an arranged marriage and was robbed. As she recalls being rescued, the same person reappears asking, "You okay?"
