In a hospital emergency, child Demi is dying and needs immediate surgery or a blood transfer. Family tensions explode: a woman insists Demi shouldn't have been born, blames Harold for taking advantage of her while drunk, and claims Harold blocked Jack from getting blood. Medical staff balk because Mr. Walters has just come out of surgery and shouldn’t move, but he insists, "I have to save Demi," and forces himself into action.
