Shedding Pounds, Seizing Power - Episódio 2

When multiple dams in Jamore burst, officials report the treasury is empty and the court scrambles for funds. Empress Christine proposes mass-producing an air conditioner—using its blueprint to sell to nobles and merchants—to finance emergency repairs. Courtiers accuse her of hypocrisy: she banned summer spending but used chilled comforts and keeps consorts; one even jabs that the "infamous wife-dumping emperor" wants blueprints. Christine snaps, "I've received the reward. Now get lost!" She leaves with Francis, the court furious, and whether her plan will fund the repairs or cost her authority remains unresolved.
