Shedding Pounds, Seizing Power - Épisode 3

At court a heated debate erupts after the empress's apparent suicide attempt and sharp gossip about an affair. Courtiers complain about famine and the looming five-year duel between Yolham and Bellaros, which will worsen tensions. His Majesty is furious; ministers argue the empress likely resents being sent to Frosthall. The ruler orders Francis to investigate what happened in Twilight Hall on the night of the Rite of Rain. Rumors claim Lady Rosalie caught the empress with a lover and was beaten, suggesting the incident wasn't simple self-harm. Francis's inquiry begins, leaving the court's reputation and the upcoming duel's politics unresolved.
