Soft on the Surface, Ruthless Beneath - 3 화

Jared rushes to Vivian's side after a tense encounter, saying he won't let anyone hurt her. At dinner he presents a custom diamond necklace for Wendy's birthday. Wendy plots to feign generosity by giving the necklace and an outfit to Vivian to gain family favor. Their mother insists the gifts be handed to Vivian to make up for past suffering; Vivian accepts and lets Wendy help put on the necklace. Wendy outwardly complies but sneers and vows Vivian will regret this, leaving the household's fragile calm and the next clash imminent.
