Soft on the Surface, Ruthless Beneath - エピソード 5

At a family meeting over a new car, Vivian confronts her parents after Dad’s gift is declared meant for Wendy. Hurt, she asks if they were switched at birth and lists the abuse she’s suffered—beatings, scoldings and being forced to sell organs—pushing Mom to admit fault and promise to make amends. Embarrassed, Vivian refuses the car and asks for a used vehicle instead. Mom protests but then reverses course and gives Vivian the car. The episode closes with the household’s split over Wendy’s privileges exposed and the family’s future unsettled.
