Larry is in danger and bystanders shout for help while a crowd pins blame in chaos. A woman accuses Caleb and Larry of betrayal that killed her and her baby, vowing retribution; others call Ms. Aston a goddess and demand Eliza be stripped of her costume as a scammer. Eliza insists she never met them or saved their family. Confronted, Caleb answers, 'So what if I did it? This is just a little punishment,' turning suspicion into confession. The woman says she alone can take and give life, leaving Larry endangered and the group on the brink of judgment.
