The Blessings of Many Heirs - Episode 9

A confrontation erupts at the manor after the Countess likely goes missing in the Mist. Nobles accuse Alicia and Haven of consorting with a man described as a slave and warn that the Baron's uncle will be informed. Haven vows to go into the mountains, but rivals mock him, boast ten knights and a Rank 1 Awakener, and threaten to kill him. Despite protests, they seize the slave to scout ahead into the Mist. The episode ends with the slave dragged off and Alicia and Haven left exposed to the Baron's wrath, their fate unresolved.
