The Blessings of Many Heirs - Episode 14

Ambushed in the Mist, John and Haven confront members of the Mist Association, who say some people learned to live in the Mist, allied with monsters, and now hunt humans. The attackers admit they lay in wait for three days and claim responsibility for a recent assault. John's identified as at least a Rank 3 fighter, and companions urge Haven to escape. In the ensuing clash John blocks a punch but the assailant readies a second strike. Haven refuses to flee and decides to stand and fight, leaving their survival hanging on the next blow.
