The Broken Family: A Story of Regret - Episode 1

Ann's birthday begins with her mother absent and her father promising to keep her company. When the mother returns she angrily scolds Allen for living in his lab, then locks his research results in a safe to block his entry into a competition. She tells Ann to fetch a birthday gift and check the safe for a file. Ann opens the safe but becomes trapped inside and cries for help. The episode ends as her father arrives and finds Ann locked in the safe, leaving the family to confront an immediate, dangerous crisis.
