Bobby collapses from poisoning as bystanders argue over the last Vitalis Beads and competing treatments. One person injects an antidote claiming it cures all poisons, but the antidote enrages a mutarite that will consume Bobby's heart. A woman offers the only alternative: the heartworm she nurtured with her own blood and forces Bobby to take it. He reacts with heat and sexual remarks; another woman says Elena wanted his body. If the heartworm and mutarite accept, he's Twizzle's chosen fated one; if they reject, he dies tonight—then someone calls, 'Hello?'
