They push aside sympathy to focus on the task as a soul-swapping ritual unexpectedly begins. The intruder is surrounded and taunted while others say they will take their time, intensifying the threat. The scene turns when the ritual actually starts instead of being stopped; an offscreen voice cries, "Wait!" leaving whether the intruder can stop the swap unresolved.
