The Sound That Set Her Free - Episode 3

Lily spends her days singing and doing odd jobs to pay for her father's treatment. She proudly shows Ms. Hadley's autograph and tells staff she earned five bucks collecting bottles and 25 dollars and 5 cents washing dishes. The episode turns when a new scan shows his brain clot is growing; doctors tell them he needs surgery within three days or his life is at risk. Lily hands her small savings to Ms. Dorsey, but the doctor says it's nowhere near enough, they need at least $100,000. The episode ends with Lily holding her coins and a looming three-day deadline.
