At a hospital bedside, doctors warn Mr. Spencer not to have sex with patient Miss Walker because a drug reaction and rash make intercourse dangerous. Fabian is told to keep monitoring her through the night; Mr. Spencer brusquely orders him out. Another man taunts, "If you really are impotent, I'll take over," and a short exchange about energy follows. The scene flips when a caller reports their team is surrounded and "not a single one got away." Mr. Spencer replies, "I'm on my way," and rushes off, leaving Miss Walker's recovery and safety unresolved.
