A massive zombie horde approaches from the southeast, triggering a level one alert and pushing the defenders to the walls. Inside, a man insists that a zombie is his daughter, Nancy, refusing to surrender her despite the imminent threat. The authorities lock them both in the dungeon, planning to deal with them after the attack. Meanwhile, Nancy and the man prepare for the worst as bodies pile up outside. Suddenly, Yara Witt arrives to rescue Dr. Lewis through an unguarded western drain. As they escape through a tunnel, the man distracts pursuing zombies, buying time.
