Found unconscious at the palace, Cecilia returns home and confronts her family after learning she was framed and drugged. Her mother discovers Old Mrs. Moore and Monica were involved; a man who used an herbal antidote admits he accidentally knocked them out, and Prince Oscar saved Cecilia. At a tense family meeting, Cecilia's father reveals Uncle John pledged support to Prince Danny and plans to use Cecilia's marriage as a stepping stone. Outraged, Cecilia demands separate households. The episode ends with the family split and Cecilia preparing to break away, forcing an immediate choice.
