Vengeance Complete, Life at the Top - Episodio 4

An early confession stuns the room: someone admits fault, insists Layla is innocent and pregnant with his child. Vera explodes, accusing Lionel Burke of impregnating "the woman who killed my child" and demanding she be punished, not raised by them. Lionel pleads, promises the child will inherit their assets and offers five supervised visits a week as punishment. Vera refuses to release Layla. As tempers flare, Layla is handed over to Mr. Lane with the line, "She's yours now." The episode ends with Layla removed and the unborn child's custody left unresolved.
