Yves tries to force his way into a locked room to talk to a woman, but attendants cite Mr. Hawke's order barring access. Someone urges disobedience; meanwhile Morris, mistaken for Yves, slips inside. His mother warns it's dangerous, but Morris says he's there to save the woman and children are told to keep their eyes closed as the situation tightens. Separately, Mr. Hawke meets a psychiatrist who attributes his sleeplessness to psychological causes; he refuses treatment.
