After the Three Realms KPI list places the Underworld last, staff panic about year-end bonuses until attendants drag in Lewis Kane — a recently dead man glowing with "immense karmic merit." The Underworld offers him a paid post as Three Realms Liaison and revival, but Lewis refuses, wanting a carefree rich life. Judges declare he's cursed to be alone for nine lives and must accept service to break the loop. They promise revival and lovers if he meets a quota calculated by a special phone. The episode ends with Lewis holding the contract, undecided.

Lewis is introduced as unlucky in love—cheated in all three relationships and told he’s doomed to die alone—then starts as a rookie in the Underworld. Colleagues demand a welcome bonus and tease the stingy Underworld judge (the Chief). In a briefing the Chief assigns Lewis to report strange Mortal Realm incidents and ties his KPI to captured fugitives. He’s issued a Yin-Yang derivative eyeball to see ghosts, a trial Ghost Soldier Pill (three-second buff, severe weakness after) and a Hell’s Order pay card in Three Realms Coins. Suddenly someone screams, "Help me!", forcing immediate action.

A woman screams for help as several people restrain her and taunt that the Golden Lotus Curse from Phantom has been used; she struggles, can't move and threatens to call the police. Others reference Phantom and the Underworld while one witness gasps, "Isn't that Fiona Tedds, my first love?" Dr. Tedds, expected to intervene, remains oddly silent. Someone offers a Ghost Soldier Pill that would temporarily grant Ghost Soldier strength. Lewis suddenly feels dizzy, and someone declares he can break the Golden Lotus Curse—leaving whether he will act to free her unresolved.

Fiona rushes in to save Lewis after a fight; he wakes disoriented and she checks his bracelet and vital signs. A medic notes Lewis’s heart rate, body temperature and muscle density are far above normal and offers a full exam. Lewis’s father calls, urging recovery and warning that a Whitman Group scoundrel will attend an upcoming auction. Fiona learns TJ—the man who harassed them—and possibly the mysterious “Phantom” will also be there. Fiona insists on accompanying Lewis to the auction to deter TJ, turning the auction into the next unresolved confrontation.

An official says a Hell's Order will instantly trap Phantom's soul on contact, and the 100 Three Realms Coin bounty promises astronomical rewards. At the same time Tranquility Park is auctioned; Fiona is distraught—it's her mother's grave and Tedds Group's last asset, with her sick father and cash shortfall. Lewis quietly promises to buy the park for her later. Phantom glows with karmic merit nearby while the Hell's Order is primed, leaving both capture and the park's fate unresolved.

An auction for Tranquility Park opens at 50 million and quickly surges to 100 million as bidders gape and guests whisper that Ms. Tedds must be backed by an arranged marriage with the Whitmans. Mid-sale a disruption draws attention: Zayne confronts the room, taunting that mortals can be controlled, time manipulated, even have their souls taken. Pressed, he says he first wanted to train on the Tedds' luck-filled land but now declares, "I want your karmic merit." The crowd reels; the auction shifts from property sale to an explicit threat against Ms. Tedds, leaving her fate uncertain.

An attacker plans to force someone to touch a Hell's Order so the victim will be sent to the Underworld prison. The object is shoved into a person's mouth; the victim recognizes the Hell's Order and swears revenge. A man reports his karmic merit was heavily siphoned. Ghost Jose and a companion discuss possessing Fiona to recover it; Jose manages a partial restoration and tells Fiona to hold the Hell's Order as a "reward of 100" is transferred and her quota is noted. At a public auction Fiona suddenly faints as bids jump to 200 million, leaving ownership—and her fate—undecided.

At a high-stakes auction Lewis shouts a 200-million bid, shocking the room. Officials demand a finance check. An account screen declares Mr. TJ Whitman holds 135 million, while Lewis insists he has over 100 million on a transport card. The card then fails to read, and security moves to eject him for bidding with a transit card. Mr. Shaw intervenes, asks to inspect the card, and notices strange markings and an unusual aura. The auction grinds to a halt as Shaw's discovery changes the dispute, and everyone waits for his explanation, leaving the outcome unresolved.

At a crowded scene a person inspects an ordinary transport card and is told to leave. Chief Jose is called out and mocked, but someone insists: give me the POS machine—this card is special. When the terminal runs the on-screen total jumps to "1,000 million" and keeps climbing. Staff panic, demanding the amount be read aloud as they count ones, tens, hundreds. The group realizes the figure is the card's available balance. The episode ends with everyone stunned by the inexplicably increasing balance and no answer about its origin.
