While She Starved - Episode 9

Fern confronts Edwin after finding his love letters and accuses him of giving Vera his heart and money; Edwin insists there's nothing between him and Vera and promises, "I'll prove it." The household fractures when Leo appears injured, crying, "He hit me!" Edwin accuses his other son, Cade. Cade denies it and says he was sleeping on the floor; Leo stepped on him while trying to pee and Cade fell. Edwin decides to take Leo to the hospital while the family argues. The trip leaves the assault allegation unresolved and Edwin forced to choose whom to believe.
