At a hotel after a business trip she eats the late-night snack Eric made and notices the wedding ring she gave him. Colleagues taunt her, saying another woman wants Eric, while Eric shrugs: "as long as it hasn't gone to sex, it doesn't count as cheating." With divorce papers ready, she decides to break away.
