Across Mountains, Toward Home - Episode 1

A person taken in by Bobby and his family for twenty years returns home to cook and tidy. Their arrival is met with scolding: parents accuse them of slacking while pulling two acres of grass and threaten punishment for talking back. Meanwhile Ms. Sanders keeps searching for her missing daughter Quinn and refuses to give up. A late arrival finds Queenie, apologizes for being late, then forces a confrontation by demanding, “Didn't you promise me not to hit Queenie anymore?” The episode ends with the household scrambling to give a clear explanation.
