Dagger Beneath the Silk - Episode 9

After a cheering training display, a masked soldier called Mael surprises everyone with sudden strength; friends praise him but officers notice his name isn't on the roster and he gets no pay or privileges. Commander Wren orders Flint to equip Mael, pay him, and let him stay, changing his status in camp. Marquis Valen erupts, insults the troops and singles out the masked man, shouting, "Take off that mask!" As Valen moves to force removal, someone interjects, "Wait." The episode ends with Mael's identity and safety hanging in the balance.
