Divorce on Her Terms - Episode 2

At her preschool's parent-child event, five-year-old Yael panics when her mother nearly throws away the teddy bear Gary first gave her. Her mother comforts her and promises to attend the event if Yael's father can't. Suddenly Gary appears, saying he came to make Yael's birthday wish come true and let her feel fatherly love. The mother confronts him, and an awkward exchange follows. The episode ends with the mother directing Yael, "Yael, just call him Mr. Lowe," leaving whether Gary will join the celebration unresolved.
