Drowning in a Loveless Game - Episode 2

When the children's mother tells them "I'm not fit to be your Mommy" and asks them not to disturb her life, she walks away, leaving the kids shocked. At home they press their father—Did Mommy not want us?—and Cody apologizes on Ryan's behalf while another child forgives him. The children plead that Daddy like Ms. Sewell and ask him to try to make her their mother; their father promises he will try. An announcer then starts a competition and calls families forward, leaving that promise untested as the episode ends.
